maudlin of the Well (commonly abbreviated as motW) was an avant-garde metal band from Boston, Massachusetts. Their music contained elements from many different genres including doom metal, indie rock, progressive metal and new age. They released three full-length albums before disbanding in 2003, these albums included: 1999's My Fruit PsychoBells...A Seed Combustible and 2001's Bath and Leaving Your Body Map. These last two albums were considered companion albums. The band had a consistent core membership, which consisted of Jason Byron, Greg Massi, and Toby Driver. Throughout its career a sort of "revolving door" of members and session musicians participated as needed.

Agents of Oblivion - Self Titled [psychedelic rock?]

This is an amazing album; Dax's vocals are superb and rich with emotion. Unfortunately this is the only album Agents ever recorded.

COP/YOUNG GOD + GREED/HOLY MONEY [industrial/experimental]

Harsh, minimalistic, industrial music; definitely an acquired taste. If you've never heard Swans before I would recommend starting with Greed/Holy Money (it is much more listenable.)

Hi. This is where I'll be uploading music that I find to be exceptional.

Burning Witch - Crippled Lucifer (with 3 bonus tracks) [doom metal]

Download (Megaupload)

Short lived doom band featuring Stephen O'Malley. Heavily distorted guitars and clear/harsh vocals, this is by far the heaviest music you will ever come across. I threw in some hard to find tracks from their Asva and Goatsnake splits (Communion, The Bleeder, Rift Canyon Dreams.)
